Meet Vicky

​Most HR consultancy is delivered by people who’ve never actually run an HR function. Exigence is different.

Our HR practice is led by Vicky Wallis, a proven Chief People Officer who has built high-performing HR teams, earned board credibility, and transformed people functions from the inside.

​

Over her illustrious career in HR, Vicky gained extensive experience through senior leadership roles at an impressive array of blue chips including Santander, Royal Bank of Scotland, Vodafone and EDF.

​

With particular experience of shaping strategy and partnering businesses throughout major change, Vicky is a highly competent leader who has earned recognition and credibility at Board level.

​

She has been responsible for hundreds of employees throughout her career and brings a professional, level-headed and practical approach to every role she dedicates herself to.

​

Vicky's last role was Chief People Officer at Direct Line Group, a Board Level role that she found highly rewarding.

​

Now, she is following her passion to support HR leaders as they navigate their own career transitions and manage the wide gamut of HR functions.

​

She has 'been there, done that' and walked in their shoes, making her the ideal mentor and guide.
